Full review

Dec. 26-Dec. 29th 2006 was when i was there. This was the Best Canadian Experience thus far in my life. You MUST be Inter. - to Expert to enjoy this hill to it's fullest. Very little to offer for beginners but the Catamount Quad will look after you for a couple days. 15min ride to the top of the mountain on the Gondola and you can ride powder for 30-40 mins. The cat tracks to get to the blue/green runs are challenging off the Gondola and throughout, so be prepared. It would take a good 5 days to really scope out this mountain to it's fullest. And for all you Sunshine/Louise lovers i'm sorry but move over and hop in the back seat because Kicking Horse will soon be the #1 resort off the #1 highway from Calgary into the Rockies. If the Gondola was down or the snow conditions weren't there i could see some neg. reviews happening. Lots of snow slows things down a bit as the vert. drop is the biggest challenge in places, and limits the ice in the steeps that could happen if snow conditions were poor. #1 Experience was Big Mountain in Whitefish Montana. When this place gets a dump go check it out well worth it.
