    Pros: In bounds has a backcountry feel.

    Cons: Aspen prices without the Aspen crowds.

    Recommended For: Single/Newlyweds

Skiied Fernie on the way home from Calgary. It was my first time there and we arrived to a fresh 10" of snow. Skiing in late feb. with 10 new inches is always fun, skiing 10 new inches your first time at Fernie is GREAT! I loved the steep tree stashes and seemingly endless turns in the thick trees. The town of Fernie is a great ski town with small bars, small talk, and quiet cold nights. You cannot have skiied BC without stoping at Fernie.
