    Pros: Good hotels with good facilities

    Cons: expensive, freezing cold in Jan & Feb

All the hype about Canada getting powder snow is basically clever marketing! The lift system in Fernie is massively outdated considering you are paying over £350 for a weeks lift pass! I have been three times to Canada and have returned unimpressed each time.
I have seen better lift systems in Scotland! I suggest anyone from the UK stick to the Alps , they are by far the best mountain range and less than a couple of hours on a plane and half price for the ski pass .
