I have been going to Fernie for the past 7 years, and I must say it just gets better, snow conditions have not been great this year but not terrible. The ski hill has done and amazing job with the groomed runs and have kept them in tip/top shape. I say this having visited another nearby resort in the same period and this was pretty disappointing considering the snowfall there was virtually the same. In fact Fernie had serious avalanche issues in early Jan after freeze and then snowfall, and the team on the hill did a great job getting all 5 bowls sorted and the runs sorted.

Having skied at 7 other major resorts all I can say is that Fernie is very hard to beat and the only one that comes close is Kicking Horse(if it is not foggy).
