spent 10 days there in FEB 06 , from UK it was 9 1/2 hours to Calgary then on to another flight to Kelowna, with 2 kids it was a long haul... Full review

Still under 200 cm base

Pros: Spring dumps of snow

Cons: Poor viz

Spent Mar 14,15,16,17 & 18 . Still under a 2 M base so lot's of rockys higher up. Has been the Big Whiteout the past few days. Had some nice powder runs... Full review

Powder is great - March 2009

Pros: Varied terrain, beginner run from each lift, low altitude, powdery snow

Cons: No grooming on newer Gem Lake runs, Falcon Chair closed some days

Big White, Big Fun, Big Dump

Pros: Snow, Accomodations, Snowshoe Sam's, Weather

Cons: Staying in the village gets noisy on a Friday night
