Oh my God. When you're out of the mountains do you wonder why it can be raining by you and not 2 blocks down the road??? It's weather, weather is inconsistent, especially in the mountains.

Friday was the best day of the season thus far. Thigh and waist deep as I skied newly opened copper bowl, union peak, Indian ridge, and secret stashes. Epic!

Great snow and greater crowds. Wind has closed Imperial, but pockets of great conditions can still be found where the vacationers ain't.

yesterday at Breck was awesome if you know where to go. if you are willing to do a little hiking, you will find yourself in waist deep pow. I actually had the urge to start swimming in the snow at one point yesterday. it was awesome. I was still getting fresh at close. I stuck to peak 8 and some less known spots. didn't have a chance to cross over to peak 7, but sounds like it was awesome!!
