The correct wax is key for powder and spring conditions. I haven't been out and have not heard of too much dust, but last spring we had layers of dust that once certain parts of mountain melted, exposed themselves. Usually pretty visible, but not always. If you randomly hit spots where to seem to slow rapidly, it could be a dust layer...Keep eye out for the off white snow. I have seen a few people bite it head over heels hitting dust patches.

There is a great new groomer in Knolls, called Funbowl, steep, straight, look for it below APG, if you know where that is. Check your speed, or else! Love.

Its April...just enjoy it while it lasts. I have never been disappointed going to Breckenridge. If it were just peak 8, with no alpine lifts it would be so so...But with Imperial/T-bar, there is plenty of terrain and soft snow. I'd be there if I could.

I have 90 days it is definitely still worth it. Just watch out for rocks in the high alpine because of all the recent snow they look covered.

Rode 40 days this season. Still nearly 1000 acres of terrain open, plenty of rails and jumps in the park, hike to terrain, mid winter base depth. Went Monday and Tuesday this week. The lake chutes and whales tail were deep on Monday. Still worth it.

Good conditions today. Runs off of T-bar and peak 8 opened around 10:30. Good snow up top a little crusty and windy. Not very crowded up top, but fairly busy at the bottom. They charging half price for lift tix due to the closures.

I didn't see a concert setup. It was taken down after Sunday. Skiing was pretty good. Soft powder in morning up top. Afternoon got cool and some hardpack. Mashed potatoes at base. Lack of lifts was very frustrating. They opened Rocky Mountain, but not 6. T-Bar had lines when snow was good.
