We speant 7 night in Breck. The best part of the time we were there was the town. Loads of shops and tons of great restaurants. In addition, It was also one of the cheapest base-of-the-hill resorts to stay at. We found a few places that offered less than $800/week for a 1 bedroom within walking distance of the lifts (less than a couple hundred yards), but you have to do some digging. The worst part of the experience was trying to traverse the mountain on a snow board. There are a couple of flat spots between the peaks that require you to de-board and walk. I also rated the terrain less than perfect because I found the hills to be quite busy when compaired to other resorts we visited on this trip (Vail and Keystone), but it is still an excellent resort. The terrain parks were awesome, though I am not very experienced on them. Would recommend to anyone to stay in Breck and travel to other resorts in the area from there.
