Conditions are surprisingly good. No ice. Hard packed groomed. Lots of great corduroy this morning. Excellent coverage. No rocks. No lift lines so far (9:45am). Beautiful bluebird day! The 4" Friday really helped.
The mountain has done a great job of rebounding after the early week showers and with cold temps on the way things are just going to get better. I'm sure things will be in great shape for the STRIDE 100K in three weeks, check it out at Stride.org.
Boarded Sunday till 2. Surprisingly good conditions. Not too crowded, and little ice, but the lifts were slower than molasses. They're saying 24" base but it's more like 24cm. Overall, good job butternut!
Great day Sunday Jan31. Temps started high 30s and finished Day high 40s. Crowds thinned out in afternoon. Snow was really very good, did not get heavy or mushy during day. Very impressed with their snowmaking! Fun day all around.
First time at Bousquet. Decent size mountain for the price. Not all trails were open but there was plenty of terrain to have a good time. Not crowded at all for a Saturday!! We also got to meet this adorable dog.
