We continue to ride in Massachusetts. Take Catamount. It landed 18 inches of fresh powder, guaranteeing us skiing in spring with spring conditions in the air, and winter conditions on the slopes (though not for long - spring temps are heading in). We're heading into the time of year when every day is overtime, so take advantage of it.

"Loose granular" and "spring conditions" aren't what we like hearing this time of year, but it's better than the sound of "closed." Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort and other Massachusetts ski areas fought hard to make enough snow early on to keep things going through this mid- to late-December warm bout. Full Article
