On an altitude between 600 m and 1874 m, the ski areas Götschen, Hochschwarzeck, Jenner, Rossfeld Oberau and Obersalzberg offer a variety of winter sports activities.
Snowboarders for example find perfect conditions near the Götschen in Bischofswiesen, complete with half-pipe, stereo and flood-lighting. National and international competitions take place here in the Regionalzentrum für Ski Alpin and Snowboard.
Families will love the easy and very well-groomed slopes in the ski area Hochschwarzeck in Ramsau. Next to several slopes, the ski area offers one toboggan run. There is also a spacious net of cross-country ski runs available in the Berchtesgadener Land. Amongst them is the high altitude run near the Scharitzkehl in Berchtesgaden that is known to be very snow reliable until spring. The cross-country ski run is suitable for all levels of difficulty.
