Icy almost everywhere & anything that looks different will likely have sheet ice underneath. Desperately need more snow. 12 years of coming here & never seen the slopes so bare. All 11 cm of fresh stuff seems to have gone.

Great snow except where wind had blown hard pack spots on upper locations. It was warm on Monday but windy.

Ice ice baby. The conditions must have been abysmal before the snow yesterday! Very little powder anywhere, lots of ice patches. Not worth the $80 half day pass price.

lake louise special. rock solid on the front side and backside. Rode brownshirt chute 2 and it was hard pack into hard wind slab into wind crust into avalanche debris into complete shat... needs a ton more snow. coverage is OK if you stay off front side but be prepared for a rough ride.

Started off like a dream. icy underfoot from 1PM onwards. Big Pow forecast Sat/Sun/Mon according to Google weather. much needed as rocks exposed in places. Skis are a few mm thinner than they were this morning but awesome bluebird day with great material underfoot for 4/5 hours until getting icy later in the day.

Visted Louise yesterday after a bit of an icy day skating about at Norquay. conditions far better here. Still running on what feels like a very hard packed base but I they're putting genuine snow on top of this from somewhere it seems. Great wide open signature Louise style runs. Becoming icy in the afternoon (especially noticing this on big skis ). As always, get up for sunrise & be at the gondola for 9am to make sure you eat that soft stuff up whilst you can. We finished the day at 2AM after a few nice quick runs down the Ladies Downhill. I really hope some more white stuff lands here soon. Seems to be bare in parts for January but the staff here are doing a great job of keeping it going at a solid level.

Great first day but Norquay in desperate need of snow. Heading to Louise tomorrow in hope of some fresher stuff underfoot. Quay icy places & anything high up now really worth a ski as really exposed in parts with nothing to grip on. Avoid fat skis if possible or you'll be sliding about a bit!
