We went to Mayrhofen 23rd Feb - 1st March - great place and would recommend it to anyone. Learnt valuable lesson on day 1 - get to Penken by 8.15 to avoid the queues or catch the free bus to the other gondola's. Great varied choice of piste for different levels of skiing. Didn't have any fresh snow until the last day but what was there was managed effectively and the weather was lovely and warm. You could ski down from the Hintertux Glacier and the Ahornbahn if you wanted to. Only one critisism is that the piste close so early.
Would definately go again.
