Has the obvious benefit of being able to ski the Kitzbuhel ski area without having to pay the Kitzbuhel prices. Small friendly resort, has plenty of everything you need to enjoy a weeks skiing. Added bonus of now having a link up the valley across to Westendorf giving it a much greater variety of runs for all standard of skier. Try the nightskiing on a Thursday/Friday night. Awesome. Had the fortunate position of skiing on the Gaisberg over the New Year with the American Female ski team who base themselves in Kirchberg for the Winter. It helped when we also had Bode Miller along training. All in all if its good enough for him...........
