On the shores of one of Europe's clearest bathing lakes take a deep breath and enjoy the view of the Zeller See. From here, it is only a few minutes to the glacier of Kitzsteinhorn, the only glacier in the entire province of Salzburg. On its plateau at an altitude of 3,029 metres above sea level, you will find perpetual ice. Snow can be taken for granted in the winter as well as in the summer months here. Enjoy being able to go skiing all year round! At this altitude, you have a spectacular view of the entire beauty of Austria. It unveils an unforgettable panorama of 30 summits of above 3,000 metres, among them mighty Grossglockner.

Pros: Good Ski School, Wide open slopes, Glacier skiing
Cons: Can get really cold on glacier - minus 25 ! brrrr
