With 40km (25 miles) of trails, the Hintersee is one of the Salzburg regions bigger ski areas. Theres a good choice of runs compared to many of the smaller ski centres that have largely easy runs. Here, half the terrain is graded intermediate or advanced. Runs can be more than 3.2km (two miles) long and the lift served vertical is very healthy.

Families are especially well looked after, the second child (aged up to 15) pays half the ticket price when a family skies together, the 3rd and subsequent children are free.
