In Ellmau you will reach the top quickly and comfortably with a funicular train "hartkaiserbahn" in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental without question.
Theoretically you can sweep off to an alpine ski hut, a nice umbrella bar or a cosy mountain tavern every 3.57 kilometres. And since everyone knows that apré ski is part and parcel of a good day on the piste, you will find plenty of people in high shirts here.
