Full review

Perisher has got just about everything - its got snowmaking, its got big (8 seater) fast lifts, its got old slow lifts, its got some scary runs, its got too many boarders, its got a wide variety of on snow food and drink outlets. It doesn't have much in the way of "on snow" accommodation so the 25 min daily drive from Jindabyne (that most skiers and boarders get subjected to) can make for some long tiring days. Because Perisher is such a large resort is doesn't have much of a "personality" - especially when its weekend or school holiday time. There is no doubt it has got something for everybody - no matter what your age is and no matter what your skiing/boarding ability. Just make sure you get away from the front valley very quickly otherwise you will lose your patience very quickly.
