Perisher Blue is Australia's foremost family resort. Surrounded by national parkland, Perisher Blue serves up 1245hectares of skiable terrain making it the biggest in Australia. You won't find a lot of steeps and deeps but you will find 53 lifts servicing a plethora of groomed chorduroy across mainly intermediate slopes. Perisher Blue is made up of seven mountains and is a purely ski in ski out resort with much of the area pedestrian only. Perisher Blue prides itself on it's ski school and it's terrain parks with a Superpipe and four terrain parks filled with rails and jumps. It makes for a mix of the youth market and family market. The apres scene isn't as thriving as across the valley in Thredbo but there is still plenty to do with restaurants and bars and a few pubs. Add some snow tubing plus 100kms of cross country trails and Perisher Blue has it covered for a family ski holiday.
