Sunrise is the best mountain in Arizona. There is plenty of terrain to keep me occupied for a couple days. The snow is consistently better than Snowbowl, and the crowds aren't as bad as Snowbowl. People complain about Sunrise but it is a decent mountain for Arizona. And you can't beat the price of their lift tickets. I can board 2 days at Sunrise for the price of 1 day at a large commercial resort. Cyclone and Apache mountains have a good variety of terrain, less crowds, and better snow than the main mountain. The food at the lodge is expensive and not quality, so I always pack my lunch. It also would be nice to maybe see a high speed quad put in on Cyclone Mountain, as that lift takes 20 minutes. Other than that, Sunrise is a good mountain and easily beats Snowbowl
