Full review

This is my second, more detailed review of Snowbowl.
Having lived in AZ all my life, having a place to ride within a 2 hour drive is great. Until I have money to travel to the CO Plateau or Tahoe, I have Snowbowl to rely on.
One Tri-Lift to the top explains for itself that snowbowl is small, but what's nice is that the snow is very dry and when there's powder, it's pretty good powder!
There being only one small lodge that provides good service at reasonable prices promotes a friendlier atmosphere to be enjoyed by the town of Flagstaff's university students and powder hungry Arizonians instead of rich people.
Having been seasoned by Snowbowls limited parking and very limited season span, I now have a greater appreciation for greater resorts and cannot wait to hit a BIG mountain.

Snowbowl is relatively family friendly, due to its small size and very easy terrain, not to mention a pretty decent lodge to bring the kiddies and spouse to get some food and drinks.

Watch for rocks. Avoid weekends, just like any resort. Keep the mentality that you are riding in Arizona and you should have a good time. The town of Flagstaff has awesome music all the time, plus great cafes and lodging downtown.

After a day of riding, reserve a room at HOTEL MONTE VISTA to crawl to after some drinks at BEAVER ST BREWERY and in the morning try a nice cup of coffee and some vegan biscuits and gravy at MACY'S.
Rinse and Repeat!

Enjoy the season!
