I might be being to tough on Snowbowl, but I feel like it has so much potential. Lets start with the location/mountain. It is just northwest of Flagstaff AZ. It lies in the San francisco Peaks about 150 miles from Phoenix. The Mountian is broken up into three parts really, the beginner hill and small lift. The terrain park area which across the road from the lodge, it has its own chaif lift and is a decent terrain park for this size of ski resort. Lastly the Bowl and black runs accessed by the Agassiz Lift. This is where the Mountain really lacks. This lift is so slow, it feels like you can only get 5-6 runs in all day, because this lift takes like 20 minutes to get to the top. The need for a a speed quad to help with the lines ( when they get snow) and getting people to the top quicker would set this place apart from Sunrise ski resort. I feel like they could expand and make atleast 10-15 more trails along with 2 more lifts. This wont ever happen as they are more than happy just getting fat financially on what they have. For the money go to Sunrise. It might not seem as well ran, but it has better snow and better/more runs!
