We had a fantastic week for February 2012 half term. The snow was terrific and weather great. The pistes were bashed every night and the resort wasn't too busy. Great for beginners with some gentle slopes, plenty of magic carpets and no button lifts. Good for intermediates and also experts who are happy doing some gentle runs as well as more challenging ones. However, if you are an expert skier and want to be up and down long challenging runs all day for a week there might not be enough for you here. However, we had a mixed party and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Better value than France; 1 Euro for a coffee on the slopes can't be beaten, 4 or 5 Euros for a panini or hot dog and 6 or 7 for a bowl of pasta. Scenery was lovely and some enjoyable tree runs to ski through, as well as the snow park and half pipe. Not the biggest resort, but with a few bars, restaurants, shops, etc that suited us perfectly. A great holiday and we'd definitely recommend Pila. Moore family.
