La Thuile isn't a big resort for holiday makers and still quite a local resort. The bonus being that the slopes aren't very busy, infact they're pretty empty in the morning, the downside being that the nightlife isn't amazing! Theres a few good bars and restaurants on the slopes and you can always ski over to France for a change. The sking is great for intermidiate skiers although the boarders amongst us said they wouldn't come again partially because the lifts aren't boarder friendly.
There is normaly always snow, even though there might not be any down the road.
As I said the nightlife isn't wild but theres some nice restaurants, bars
and clubs where you can eat out quite reasonably. This year will be my third.
