First Hand Report

A week’s ski holiday here in Aosta and it’s been tough but enjoyable……. as too much snow and piste grooming hasn’t happened as expected due to volume of snow. Loved it here but NOT for beginners or the faint hearted!!! I’ll be coming back but hopefully to better conditions and some glorious sunshine...

Gressoney La Trinité (1637m) is situated in the heart of the ski resort Monterosa Ski, from where our guests can ski to the Ayas-Valley (Champoluc) and the Sesia-Valley (Alagna) by crossing the Bettaforca-Pass and the Salati-Pass respectively. La Trinité offers eight ski lifts, four of which are located between the village centre and the hamlet of Staffal, allowing fast travel the different ski areas of the resort. The pistes present various difficulty levels and they are mostly equipped with snow cannons. Gressoney La Trinité makes it possible to train at high altitude on a 3,5-kilometre-long piste on the shores of Lake Gabiet.
