It's supposed to dump big time tomorrow. Which is badly needed as this view from the chair up to Punta Jolanda shows.

The resort just about redeemed itself today. But why did it take so long to open this lift in perfect conditions? And the signs saying "it's forbidden to ski to another resort - the links may be closed at any moment" just look like preemptive backside covering.

This is clearly a good ski area when conditions are good but.... They have a very strange approach to closing lifts. Short lift serving blues at the top of the bubble from Staffal closed all day as well as next bubble. Didn't seem that windy. Liaison to/from Champoluc closed leaving some people walking up pistes to get home. Terrible communication, ie none. Would never come here again unless it was a last minute booking and I knew the conditions were going to be good.

Everything closed for most of the day due to high winds.

Badly in need of new snow after a warm day. Very high winds closed most of the lifts on Sunday 11th exposing how few options there are for beginners unable to access the blues which are all higher up.
