Cervinia - Breuil

Breuil-Cervinia (2050 m) is a modern ski resort at the foot of Mount Cervino. It has an impressive offering: 150 km of slopes above Valtournenche, 24 ski lifts and an international connection to Zermatt, Switzerland. The Cime Bianche Laghi-Plateau Rosà gondola and the Bontadini chair lift allow skiers to cross the border and enjoy a total of 350 km of slopes. From the top of Plateau Rosà it's possible to ski down to Zermatt or else take the Ventina trail, a 12 km long slope that descends over 1000 m from the trail head (3480 m) to the of the village of Cervinia (2050 m). Snowboarding enthusiasts will enjoy Indianpark, which is considered one of the best snowparks in the Alps: it's replete with rails and kickers and is served by the Fornet chair lift. Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche means innovation: new ways to play sports and to enjoy your vacation. Whether you're an expert skier or a beginner, whether you're looking for a hopping night life or a quiet family vacation this is the place for you. Breuil-Cervinia is synonymous with summer skiing. On both sides of the Plateau Rosà glacier seasons don't exist - the magic of snow continues from the end of June to the beginning of September. The sun, the blue sky and the white snow invite you to spend your summer with skis on your feet. At 3480 m the ski resort is home to summer skiing: 23 km of slopes where the snow maintains winter conditions. It's an occasion that thousands of ski, snowboard and freestyle enthusiasts take advantage of every year. Board lovers shouldn't miss Gravity Park's half-pipe on Plateau Rosà. It's not unusual to find World Cup champions training there. At Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche the goal is to offer cutting-edge solutions and high quality services. You can jump with your skis, surf with your snowboard, or cross-country ski, but it's also possible to experience the thrill of heliskiing with an alpine guide or go snowshoeing. Cervinia: un po' troppi esibizionisti, ma ottima per lo sci

Pros: Piste e impianti; possibilitÃ di sciare anche in Svizzera
