Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski area includes Alpe d'Huez and five other ski resorts, nestled between acres and acres of ancient pine forests, retains to this day the charm of traditional mountain villages: Auris en Oisans, La Garde, Oz en Oisans, Vaujany and Villard-Reculas.

The ski area offers 2230m (3330m at the summit of the Pic Blanc to 1100m in Oz-en-Osians) of vertical descent easily accessible via a comprehensive network of ski lifts. The Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski area offers 120 ski runs and 240 km of groomed skiing with accessibility made easy by 85 ski lifts!

The geography of the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski area starts with gentle beginner/intermediate slopes lower down, perfect for learning or mastering your skiing technique. The black runs are accessible from the Pic Blanc gondola or the Marmot III cable car and provide skiing for those more established skiers who enjoy pushing their limits. Skiing down from the heights of Alpe d’Huez ensures the full discovery of the whole area, offering a full 2,200 meters of vertical descent.

The ski run which begins on the Sarenne glacier is the world's longest groomed ski run (16 km from the top). Link that with the La Fare and Chateau Noir runs and it is possible to ski for close to one and a half hours without taking a lift. The carefully planned trail system allows visitors to enjoy continuous skiing.
