Conditions were surprisingly good today (Friday) given the lack of snow. Icy in spots, and Goat was a wind swept slab, and Divide had zero visibility, but the runs were fast, and they've done a great job keeping most of the trails covered. They've even used the snowmakers to fix the ski out. So the weekend should be good.

it was my first time ever at nakiska today. Beautiful mountain. Seriously lacking snow. A friend and I were one of the first people up the silver chair today and the grooming on homesteader was great. After lunch the grooming was worn and it became SUPER slick. definitely shouldnt be charging full price right now considering only 3 blue runs and a couple greens are open.

Crusty and icey. Surprise mogulled runs. Snow was better (less skied out) on the back side. Still was good to get out!

I haven't noticed when I drive by COP. Are they making snow at all?

Overall in great shape considering lack of recent snowfall, groomers were good. Barely any icy patches, lots of good turns to be had in the trees although no fresh powder anywhere. Not much open terrain on Goats Eye.

Paris traverse. Sunday past. Good groomer bluebird day. Found a few powder turns in the twigs.

Groomed hard pack. Once the grooming has been scraped away, it is slippery. Some good runs are open, but lacking snow. They are making snow furiously, so if the temperature stays low, conditions should be okay for Boxing day.

Whole mountain is heavily skied out, powder in the trees has developed crust from it being warm last week so that isn't even enjoyable. Lots of icy spots and exposed rock. Pray for snow.
