    By Becky Lomax Late October storms rolled through Alberta's Jasper National Park this weekend dumping 20 inches of snow in five days at Marmot Basin. To complement Mother Nature, the resort prepared to fire up their new snowmaking system this week. Full Article

  • More White at Lake Louise

    By Becky Lomax A weekend storm ripped through Alberta's Lake Louise adding 5.5 inches to its base. Then, temps plummeted in its aftermath - "a perfect environment for snowmaking," says Matt Mosteller, a Resorts of the Canadian Rockies VP. With Mother Nature assisting resort efforts, lifts are scheduled to turn for the first day on Friday, Nov. 10. Full Article
