    Home away from home

    Pros: Good snow, quick rides up, beautiful, NORTH FACE
    Cons: Has gotten more crowded over the years

    Pros: Skiing was magical
    Cons: Road from Anchorage to Girdwood a bit hairy. Drive safely when it's snowing!

    You want snow? They have SNOW!

    Pros: Outrageously beautiful, outrageously fun
    Cons: Train from Anchorage needs to increase ski trip runs

    The place for steeps and quad workouts

    Pros: Short lines, steep runs, 700+ inches
    Cons: Flat light in January, wet snow
