Anonymous wrote: So this is a nice place to ski if you are warming up for a trip out west. If you just want to ski, this is the place. The lodging looked a little scary and the restaurant was the typical midwest ski resort greasy spoon. (We took a picnic lunch..I highly recommend doing so). Alpine Valley is old and the lifts are spaced out (i.e. when you get to the bottom of the hill it is a haul back to the lift).
