The peaks (Mt Shuksan) is near the resort. There is back country access to Shuksan arm, the ridge leading to the mountain, at the top of chair 8. As for the peak itselk, nobody skis the hanging glacier. You can hike/skin to many peaks (Table Mt, Herman, Shuksan Arm, etc) from the resort if you adhere to the mt policies.
