Anonymous wrote: The best snow in New York! Unlike other resorts in New York, the slopes are mostly soft pack and often with a beautiful powder base. Because it is so far north and has a wonderful orientation, the slopes are well covered and protected. It is a fabulous family resort as the runs are doable for young skiers and beginners. But it is also great for those of us older folks who are strong skiers but who need to take breaks!
