Bolognola Overview

Region Wide Comparison

Area Profile

Bolognola, meaning little Bologna, is a picturesque old village established in the thirteenth century by three noble families who were exiled from Bologna. Today the village has plenty of antiquities of interest to the enthusiast, as well as a wide range of leisure and sporting opportunities beyond skiing. The skiing above Bolognola at Pintura, on the winding road to Sarnano, is on largely wide empty trails, all but one served by parallel drags of up to 627 metres in length.
