Area Profile
One of the highest centres in L'Aquila province, located close to the Corno Grande ( 2914 M ) the highest peak in the Italian peninsular. The centre has great expert runs of 1000m when snow cover is adequate. Snow reliability suffers from southerly exposure and base altitude. Mussolini was jailed in the mountain hotel.
