Alpe di Siusi Overview

Region Wide Comparison

Area Profile

A scattering of hotels and other buildings by the ski area and at high altitude above Ortisei / St Ulrich. Ski lifts not linked (except by bus) to those of Val Gardena and the Sella Ronda. Siusi itself is a traditional village in Val Gardena/Groden Valley but not lift linked to the main Sella Ronda/Val Gardena area. Alpe di Siusi above gives slopeside access to the substantial, intermediate level, local skiing area.

The Alpe di Siusi is well suited to boarders, who have a specially prepared snow park and a half pipe to enjoy. The ski school also offers special snowboarding classes. The wide open terrain leaves plenty of space for practicing tricks and is especially wonderful for powder surfing after a heavy snowfall.
