Mountain High is an interesting amalgamation of not one, but three resorts and, though they are only a mile apart, each offers its own brand of fun as well as distinct differences in terrain and atmosphere. The West Resort is filled with an array of technical trails and skillfully-designed terrain features to satisfy the sport's new freestyle culture. It is the more youthful of the three areas and the site of many on-hill contests, promotions and live performances. It is also Southern California's only local resort open seven nights a week. The East Resort boasts cruising trails more than a mile and a half long, moguls and breathtaking views of the Mojave Desert. Rising 8,200 feet, East Resort offers traditional skiers and snowboarders a true alpine experience without having to journey far from home. New this season, Mountain High offers a third resort with 70 acres of tubing and beginner terrain catering to families, snowplayers and introductory skiers. Formerly Ski Sunrise, Mountain High North is located across from the West Resort and free shuttles are available. The North Pole Tubing Park will operate 7-days-a-week, peak season, and lift service for skiers and snowboarders will be available on peak weekends and holidays. Each base area is complete with restaurants, sport shops, ski and snowboard rentals, and a ski school.

Remodeling at the resort area has given guests broader and easier access to snow. They've expanded the West base deck and put in a new Patio Bar and barbecue, enlarged tubing area, and implemented a hands-free ticketing system.
