Bruck is a pretty little village with a small beginners ski area. The nearest major resort is Zell am See, some 10km away.Bruck is a mid-sized Austrian resort village which is excellent for beginners. The resort is also a goof base for more advanced skiers wishing to ski at nearby Zell am See.

There are two ski lifts in the village which are ideal for beginners and children (free for guest-card holders - guest cards are provided free to hotel guests). There is a well-equipped ski school in the village and a ski rental service available at the Lukashansl.

Intermediate and advanced skiers can ski at the nearby Europa Sportregion with its 58 ski lifts and cable cars around Kaprun and Zell am See, including the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and Schmittenhöhe Mountain with its numerous snow-making facilities.

A free ski bus shuttle service runs to the Areitbahn - Schmittenhöhe ski arera at Zell am See from where there is another a bus connection to Kaprun.

Bruck has 21 km of well groomed cross-country skiing tracks, with a connection to the 200 km long Pinzga-Loipe track.
