Well placed in Austria's largest inter-connected ski area - the Ski Welt, close to Westendorf. It has a high capacity gondola which accesses the region more efficiently than those of neighbouring resorts. The village itself is strung out, with a walk to the lifts and a bus ride to the nursery slopes. Apres ski can be lively, but is mostly hotel based.
A variety of hotels, guesthouses, pensions, holiday apartments, farm houses, and camp sites.
63 mountain huts and inns in the ski arena; two ski schools; snow bars and snowmaking.
Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, night skiing, curling, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing, and winter walks. Also, paragliding, indoor tennis, sauna, and shooting are available.
