Area Profile

Since 1987, the small Hrast T-bar has provided a local ski hill for the communities of Gail and Hohenthurn. Although the terrain isn't huge - a relatively easy half mile long run only, there is full snowmaking coverage and floodlighting for night skiing.

The nearby ski area on the Petzen provides more extensive terrain, with six lifts, one a gondola. It is a major part of the syill larger Schi Region Süd, on the north side of the Slovenian border.
