Theres been skiing on the Teichalpe since 1957 and the area opened what was then Austrias longest T Bar lift, a kilometre long, five years later in 1962.

Teichalpe is the larger of two ski regions next to the resort of Fladnitz. There are smaller ski areas on the nearby Sommeralm.
