The most southerly ski area in Carinthia's Villach region is located close to the border with neighbouring Italy and Slovenia. Cross country skiers are allowed to ski over these borders without the need for a passport.

The Dreiländereck area has skiing for all levels and a healthy vertical for its size. There's also a long toboggan run to enjoy.
