The ski-area of Brüggelekopf-Dresslerberg-Tannerberg offewrs wide piste through wooded terrain. The ski-lifts of Tannerberg, which include a rare single chair, include two illuminated pistes for night skiing.
There's also 18 km of varied cross-country skiing in the area including a short, 2km, middle, 6 km, and a long, 10 km, classic choice, as well as a 3 km Skating loipe.
There's also tobogganing, with a lift up the hill provided by the chair lift on the Brüggele.
Alberschwende is also a popular starting point for many ski-tourers. Easy tours to the Brüggelekopf or selective tours into the mountain-world of the Bregenzerwaldes are possible.
